Intern: Technical Support for Flight Projects Directorate

NASA, Goddard Space Flight Center – Remote

  • Technical expertise requested by the Special Assistant to the Director of Flight Projects in NASA for spreadsheet management, organization, and optimization for various ongoing projects.
  • Analyzed information from projects transpiring in the past 20 years at Goddard and designed a log of their significance for historical use in the National Archives and Records Administration.

Resident Advisor

  • Reflected proper leadership and responsibility over 5 floors of an academic building.
  • Focused on conflict resolution, relationship building, crisis prevention, and event management for residents.
  • Developed a relationship with residents to help them through the semester and advise them about college life.
  • All aspects of the job and daily duties were logged and communicated to an executive.
  • Adapted mid-semester for a sudden and total change of work under new COVID-19 guidelines.

Publications

MapleTracker

September 2021

The MapleTracker spreadsheet was published in September 2021 after a month of development. It is an organization-and-tracking-based sheet which serves many purposes for automatic long-term tracking. The most prominent features it contains are:

  • The ability to track 30 different public servers on an hourly basis to develop trends for stability,
  • Access a user’s ranking and stats automatically on a daily basis to develop trends of potential future outcomes,
  • Support for a hassle-free import of settings and data from older versions of the sheet when I publish an update.

RuneScape Archaeology Hotspot Calculator

August 2020

The RuneScape Archaeology Hotspot Calculator was developed from June to August 2020, involving a series of phases toward completion. The wiki’s website administration requested my expertise in data analysis and coding to create the calculator by the start of Q4. This task involved:

  1. Researching the newly released skill to understand its mechanics,
  2. Collecting data on materials and experience gained,
  3. Combining steps 1&2 and performing data analysis to develop correlative equations and functions,
  4. Coding the calculator’s front end with JavaScript to display an organized calculator with fully customizable inputs,
  5. Coding the calculator’s backend with Lua to support a user’s custom inputs and outputting a set of tabulated data and trends.

Outside of the primary development, a significant portion of work since then has consisted of debugging and accounting for new data trends or updates to the skill.
